Rx-P

Shake well before use. Add 10 ml (2 tsp) per 25 gallons (95 liters) of aquarium water every other day. Continue treatment for seven doses (13 days). For maximum results, on off days, treat with KENT Marine Poly-Ox as directed. As a preventative measure, treat the system for 3 treatments immediately after adding new fish. To directly treat an affected animal, prepare a dip solution in a separate container or quarantine aquarium by adding 5 ml (1 tsp) per gallon of saltwater. Place animal in solution, for 15 minutes or less. Continually observe while in the solution and remove if rapid breathing or other signs of stress occur.

This product MUST be used in conjunction with a protein skimmer! Adjust skimmer daily for good foam production! The treatment objective is to have a high concentration of KENT Marine Rx-P peak when dosed, then be reduced rapidly by the skimmer. Remove carbon filtration.

Upon ending the treatment or needing to abruptly terminate treatment due to overdosing or negative animal reaction, stop treatment, perform a major water change (>20%), and begin carbon filtration. If a quarantine or hospital aquarium is available, immediately move animals to an untreated location.

Using with Fish: Not recommended for lionfish or scorpion fish. Treated fish must be in a reasonably healthy condition for treatment to be effective and for recovery to occur. It is necessary, to begin treatment at the first sign of infection. Good biological filtration during use is also required to reduce other stresses.

Using with Reefs: Should not be used in aquariums containing starfish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, sea apples, medusa worms, nudibranchs or similar animals. Not recommended for colonial anemones (mushrooms), acropora or other small polyped stony corals. Since marine parasites are invertebrates, treating them with this product will stress other invertebrates. Some inverts will show sensitivity to use by closing up, sliming, or recessing. This reaction may be temporary and may not indicate any damage to the animal. Treated animals must be in a reasonably healthy condition for treatment to be effective and for recovery to occur.
